Overview

PrivaNota is built for privacy. The app transcribes your voice to text and runs AI processing entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence and Apple’s Foundation Models. We do not collect, track, sell, or share your data.

Data Processing

• On-device only: Transcription and AI features run locally on your iPhone/iPad. Your content does not leave your device for processing.
• No analytics: The app contains no third-party analytics, ads, or tracking SDKs.
• Storage: Notes and summaries are stored locally on your device and protected by the system.

Backups

You can optionally export an encrypted backup file with the .privanota extension. Only the PrivaNota iOS app can decrypt and open this file. You control where you store this file (local storage, your own cloud drive, external device, etc.).

Accounts

No account is required. We do not operate a PrivaNota server and we do not host your data.

Payments

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not process payments directly and do not receive your payment details.

Children

PrivaNota is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact Apple Support regarding App Store purchases.

Changes

If this policy changes, updates will be reflected in the app and on this page.
